Closing the Gender Gap.
Numerous studies recognized that heterogeneous teams are more innovative. Gender diversity has become a corporate performance driver!
Continuous innovation is essential for companies in the STEM (science, technology, engineering, mathematics) industry. Unfortunately, in these fields women are still underrepresented. Many young women enter STEM career paths but they are less likely to remain in these fields for many reasons.
Dr. Ulrike Schindler aims to help increase the success of young women entering the scientific field by building and fostering mentoring relationships with women in science at all career levels. She wants to reach out to women interested in a STEM career and encourage them to succeed in these fields.
