Trans America: Washington DC to Astoria, Oregon

In May 2023 I started the Trans America with two friends. Patrick joined me on his bicycle and Anne took care for all our needs including food, housing and language.

Although, I lived and worked in the US for a long time, I had not crossed the country for almost 40 years and I had never done it on my bicycle.

This fascinating tour from Washington D.C. to Astoria, Oregon, led us through 15 states and many different sceneries.
